Talent Squared is proud to partner with one of UK’s leading food business, the growth of this company has grown by over £100m in recent years and with strong brands in international markets, this is a fantastic company to work for! We now require an ambitious International Account Manager to help expand its international business in the European markets. Working with their distributor partner in Hannover you will develop and implement sales strategies to develop new business in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, and Belgium.
This position would suit an experienced International Sales professional with a strong understanding of retailers, grocery, high street or convenience channel. You will have a proven National Account Management experience with a track record within the FMCG, ideally food & drinks.
Working alongside the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will have sales budget control and distribution of the brand in key markets overseas. You will assist in new product development, develop new business relationships and maintain customers in Germany, Holland, Austria, and Belgium. Further territories outside of the EU can also be developed such as Australia and New Zealand where there is a lot of potentials. Passionate and self-motivated, you will have a strong knowledge of category management, joint business planning, and marketing. A good understanding of European grocery trade is essential and has a working knowledge of local cultures. There is regular travel to meet with customers, distributor, and exhibitions; the International Sales Manager / National Account Sales Manager will have strong planning and organisational skills, be customer focused and have excellent negotiation skills.
