Specialising in hand tools, power tools, fixings and adhesives, this business has an unrivaled industry reputation backed by exceptional customer service, both in the UK and overseas. Due to further expansion, we are now looking for a National Account Manager. You must be able to speak fluent German and English, the individual can be home based in the UK or Germany.
Managing a portfolio of national accounts within the DIY, independents and online, the successful candidate will increase sales revenue and identify new business opportunities with an existing portfolio of national accounts. Experience of selling into wholesale, independents, sheds, and online retailers is essential.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the National Account Manager will develop and implement joint business plans to align business expectations and maintain growth by driving new business, product listings and increase turnover within existing accounts. Travel is required throughout Europe and you will need to travel to the head office in Somerset as and when required. Experience in managing retail accounts at a senior level is essential as you will be expected to pitch both products and marketing options to leading customers. A background in Key/National Account management within the DIY/Hand/Power Tools would be preferred. You will have the drive and tenacity to achieve quality performance and to see a job or project through to completion with strong analytical skills.
